Phuket, with people who actually live here
We're French, we live in Phuket. We're not tied to any agency and don't live on commissions: we look for what actually fits, and we answer in English.

What we do
Villas, from the owner
Private pool villas, apartments and condos, from owners we know personally. Staff, chef or long stays: we check the house before you commit.
Scooters and motorbikes
Licensed rental shops, a filmed handover, a cash deposit and never your passport. Plus the licence question, answered honestly.
Kuala Lumpur and Bali, from Phuket
Thailand's visa-free stay is now 30 days. If you have to leave anyway, we organise a week across two countries instead of a day at a border.
Before you go
Airport money exchange, ATM fees, your first taxi, your first scooter: the five things that catch people out in their first hours on the island.

Why “no commission” changes the advice you get
Phuket has plenty of agencies, and many of them do good work. The difference isn't quality. It's where the money comes from.
When an intermediary earns a percentage on the villa you rent or the boat you book, the villa and the boat that pay the best percentage tend to come up first. That isn't bad faith, it's simply how the market works. We aren't part of that chain: our interest is that you come back next year and send your friends, not that you rent one particular house this Friday.
In practice, that lets us say things an agency on commission can't. “Patong will be too loud for you.” “For those dates, look further south.” “The place you found on your own is better than what we have.”
And we're here all year. We see the houses with our own eyes, we know the owners by name, and when something goes wrong we deal with it on the spot, not by email from another time zone.
Common questions
- Are you a travel agency?
- No. We're a small concierge and introduction service based in Phuket. We find the right villa, scooter, driver or boat, put you in touch with the local provider and stay in the loop until you fly home. Each service is provided by the local owner or operator, and you deal with them directly. We don't sell flights or package holidays.
- Why does it matter that you don't take commissions?
- Because a middleman paid on commission has every reason to show you whatever pays him best. We're not in that chain. It means we can tell you that a neighbourhood won't suit you, that your dates call for something else, or that the place you found yourself is better than anything we have.
- Do you speak English?
- Yes. We write to you and answer your questions in English. On the island we sort things out in Thai, English or French, whichever is quickest. For you, the only difference is speed.
- What does it cost to ask?
- Nothing. You tell us your dates, your group and what you're after, and we come back with a written proposal. Nothing is booked until you say yes.
- How far ahead should I get in touch?
- The earlier, the wider the choice, especially from November to April, which is high season on Phuket's Andaman coast. But even a couple of weeks before you fly, there are usually good options: send us your dates and we'll tell you what's genuinely available.
